Google Updates Mobile SERPs

Google has released an update to search results on mobile devices.

The update contains two main features. The first is that mobile ads now have a black label for Ad. This replaces the green outlined label that has been showing since 2017.

The other update is that the organic results on mobile devices will now show the website favicon. This gives brands an opportunity to get recognized in the search results.

The new layout for ads also includes the website address above the headline next to the label rather than under the headline. This will be one to watch to see if it sticks or not.

Do you have a favicon? We can help you get one on your site so it shows in Google results.
