There is a lot of noise and distractions on the internet. If you want your landing page to stand out, you’ll need to create clear, SEO friendly content. Otherwise, even your best marketing efforts may be lost amid the turmoil of the online competition.

The goal of your landing page should be to get more visitors and convert them to customers. You can start towards your goal by abiding by the following tips.

Properly Researched Keywords

Proper research means that you find the keywords, both short and long-tail that attract the attention of those looking for the products or services that you provide. You’ll need to discover keywords that have organic potential while fitting smoothly within your content. It helps if you know what your successful competitors use to garner customers. The keywords should be in the following areas.

    • Title
    • Meta Description
    • Header Tags
    • Alt Text & Image File Names

Do that, and you are well on your way toward attracting the type of consumers who are interested in what you have to offer.

Fast Download Speeds

This may seem minor at first, but the faster your site downloads, the greater the impression will be on potential customers. This means keeping the sizes of the files down so that the entire landing page can load within a few seconds.

Be sure that your website host offers fast download speeds and eliminate any unnecessary plugins or directs that can slow down the process.

Use Backlinks

If you want to add authority to your landing page, adding the right backlinks will do it. You need to develop a consistent backlinking strategy that utilizes the right statistics, case studies, and information that augments your landing page.

If there are influencers in your industry, reach out to them and see if they can be added to your landing page. Plus, check out what your competitors use and find sources that work for your efforts.

URL

One of the key elements in a successful landing page is having a custom URL. Search engines such as Google respond much better when the URL matches the material. By having your domain in the URL, you are leveraging all of what SEO can do for you.

Be sure the URL is clear, concise, and has the proper targeted keywords. Primary keywords should be used first as search engines tend to shorten longer URLs in the search results.

Share It

Do not be afraid to have the content shared. In fact, it is one of the best ways to augment the reputation of your landing page. People who share the content on social media will help bring more people to the landing page.

Tell visitors that your content can be shared on social media and other platforms by placing the right buttons on the site. You want to generate interest that builds over the internet, so be sure that you encourage visitors to share your content.

Creating an SEO friendly landing page can help you garner more customers. In addition to the advice given here, be sure your content is clear, enjoyable, and provides valuable information.
