Magnifying Glass Icon "Physicians"Managing the Google My Business page can be hectic for some practices.

Sole Practitioners

Sole practitioners have an easier time managing their pages. Only one page is needed for the practice and not an additional for the doctor.

The best guidelines for naming this page is as follows:

[brand/company]: [practitioner name].

Multi-Practitioner Practices

Practices with more than one physician becomes more challenging but we’ll help clarify it.

The practice should have a local business page with just the practice name as the title.

[brand/company]

Each physician can have their own page but it MUST not have the practice name in it (this is duplication and flagged/penalized by Google). The proper format is:

[practitioner name]

Of course fill out the each page’s profile in detail optimizing it for your audience. Make the physician’s page a business profile specific to that physician and not duplicating the content of the practice page.
